Hello!
I didn't think you guys actually used this anymore, which is why I haven't read it in a long time. But now that I know you do, I will check it more often. We're all excited for next week when Shay will be home. I just talked to Brea today for quite awhile on the phone. Didn't get home til almost midnight last night from the funeral. It was nice seeing all the rellies. Mom, Tammy, Lu and I rode together. We played Deal or No Deal tournaments on the drive. I suck at that game. I got a 1000 when we were trying for high game and 100,000 when we were going for low. Go figure.
I've just developed a superstition about Mondays. The last three mondays have sucked with first, Mom's heart attack, then the paramedics out the next, then the third being my dad's death anniversary and my cousin dying. The year has not started out all that well, huh?
I have one more week of speech left with a tournament on Thursday and our end of the season party on Friday. I love doing it, but am glad when I get to come home at the end of the work day.
Shay, maybe when you are here, you could come into school with me to meet Mary Dennis. I mentioned it to her and she thought it was a great idea. You'll love her. I think she said she is staying with friends on 10th street? I have no idea if that is anywhere in your neighborhood or not.
Anyway, did you all hear that Mackie got 2nd place at Sections? Awesome! Brea and I went to watch the contest. We had a good time, I think.
Well, I gotta run. Now you can't say I suck at this anymore:) Love you all. -The Mom
p.s. I'll talk to you about Jesse when you are home, Shayla. Remember, I like you a lot!

hola paradeis family! Be careful not to say anything naughty in here about any other weigel blood since we can all access your family blog now! :) I've never done this blog thing before; it's kind of fun. Shay, sorry things have been a little rusty with you and Jesse. It may be hard at times, just remember that everything happens for a reason. We've all been there...and back! ;)
I didn't realize the days of everything; you are right Kathy, the Mondays have not been good. Hopefully tomorrow will bring a ray of sunshine!
