Thought I would post on here just to see how long it takes for anyone to see it:) So....done with the Camp Ripley job, going to get started on the first big garden project this coming week, hopefully will be able to do the other one the following week, then am planning an extended stay at Shayla's. Just a little respite...get my classes done...enjoy the view...maybe hike a little...help Shayla decorate her new dwelling...sounds good to me!! I want to get to Mitch's before leaving for MT too. Also, if Brea still needs help with her landscaping will try to arrange that too before heading out. Plenty busy, but looking forward to all the jobs and getting some quiet time in August. Painted the bathroom last night and have touch ups to do today. Also shampooed the kitchen carpet. It was so filthy. Looks much better now. As does the bathroom. Got bills paid but am out of stamps so I have to run and buy a book. Hope all is well with everyone and that you are all enjoying Summer. Don't have any plans for this weekend, probably go see the fireworks I imagine. Love you all!!!! The Mom

I thought the Weigel post was bad. No one posts on here either. Oh well. I've nothing to say either. Just got the internet finally and thought I would check out blogs. Not much new on either of them.
I start work a week from Monday. Mixed feelings about that. Mac is moved in to Brea's. It's very quiet around here! The cats say hi.

I'm sorry I didn't extend the "how are you" question in your direction. But I still wanted to know despite that. I'm glad you got on here. I think "Make it happen" sounds great. I haven't been too into the motto thing lately. But I have found myself uttering a phrase to myself pretty ofter lately which I think I will make my motto. "Either this, or something else." It makes me feel good.
I'm glad you had a good new year. Mines going ok so far. 2008 was such a good year for me and 21 was such a good age for me, that I'm kinda sad to let them go. But at the same time, there's no reason the next one won't be great also. And at least this one stared with me in a place I really enjoy.
I'm planning to come back to visit in February sometime. Probably near the end of the month. Hopefully it won't be very sub-zero at the time. Although I know its a good possibility. I hope you had a chance to satisfy the monster in you last night. Talk to you soon.

Well, I wasn't included in Shayla's questions, but when has that ever stopped me from responding anyway?
I am doing well. My New Year arrived with good vibes and the prospect of improvement. Things are going rather well for me these days. My motto of the year is "Make it Happen." I think I made a good choice. I think it is just right for what I need to keep in mind this year. What's yours, Shayla? Do you still do a motto every year? I skipped 2008; I think I knew it would be a frustrating and rough year so I didn't bother. But this year is going to be better, so I thought it would be time to resurrect the tradition.
At any rate, things are going well. Do you have any plans for heading back into the icy reaches of Minnesota, Shayla? No hurry, or anything, I'm just curious. :)
I should get heading out, considering that it's 4:30 AM and I have some things I would like to accomplish before sleep. Chief among these is satisfying the creative monster within me, who demands that I spew words onto pages.
