Shalayla- Random question... Do you by chance have any dresses left here? I need one for Christmas Ball so I figured I'd ask. But if you took em with or don't have any that's cool.:) And thanks for congratulating me on the novel. It didn't necessarily turn out to my liking, but it met the word goal and that's good enough for me. I've been letting it sit for the past couple of weeks before I jump into editing, I kind of want to approach it with a mildly open mind. As far as small Christmas gifts go, I like incense and candles and those are pretty cheap. But unless you see something that screams "Mac" to you, don't bother. Save your money. And The Diviners went really well. Mr. Peterson cried, which was cool. And kind of humorous. It was an excellent show, and a decently large time committment for me.
Brenana-I finished The Bell Jar. Excellent book, I presumed that you left it for me and so I read it. I liked it a lot, though it was quite sad. Anything else you think I should read? Cause my list is essentially empty at the moment.
Mitchy- Hi.
Does nobody have anything to say? Seems like Shayla and I are the only ones that actually post. But I should be off, I have to finish reading Young Men and Fire for AP Lit for the test on Friday and I'm not even close. I've kind of been slacking on it. And I have an AP Stats test tomorrow... So, looks like homework time for me. Have a wonderful day!

How's life going for everyone. I hope ya'll had a spledid time slaving away at cookies. I miss you all, especially when I know that you are making cookies. Things are ok here. I just finished the week from hell at school. So that's nice. I finally have a little bit more of a life. But Christmas break is going to be so sweet its unbelievable. Speaking of which, are there any small things people want for xmas, like 5-10 dollar things. I'm just surrounded by so much shopping out here that I keep wanting to get little funny things for everyone or dvds, tower records is going out of business so I can get pretty much any movie for about 7 dollars. Let me know what yall want, if there is anything small. Hows school going for everyone?

Hello, Shalayla!
Not much is happening around here as of late. Just the usual high school conflicts and all of that other stuff that helps to waste away as much of our decency as the general population can suck out of those of us with minds and personalities. But anyway. My German is super cool. I think you'll like her. I do, anyway. Nothing too especially exciting has been happening, and the only plans I really have for next weekend are I think Friday or Saturday I'm going to gather together five of my closest friends here. I embarked on an interesting project this past week. See, I've always wanted to write a novel, as you know. With the plot that I'm trying to write, I need to have a solid group of main characters (I'm shooting for eight, though it may become six...) that are intensely close to each other. Now, I have come to realize that the group of friends I associate myself with is perhaps the most close-knit group I've have ever personally encountered. I mean, they've been together for years, and they know each other so much better than most "close" friends do. It's amazing how much is between all of them, how many ties there really are. And plus, they (we, since I've become a part of it) have dinstinctly different personalities, which would make them a fascinating group of characters. However, I am not the kind of person to base characters off of real people without figuring out who they really are to each other and who they are in their own opinions. So I crafted a survey (18 questions, one with fifteen small subcategory things, and five with eight subcategories), which is apparently really hard and takes a lot of time. I gave each of the people I want in my book (myself included) a copy of it. So far I've gotten one back, and I handed them out on Monday and Tuesday. Except now I don't know about one of my characters, cause he went to lock-up today and will be there for anywhere up to two years. And I didn't get a survey to him because I didn't know if he had to go or not. But without the survey information I don't know if I know enough about him to write about him. I do have the opinions the others have about him, but I don't know if that will be enough. But anyway, that makes me sad, cause my buddy is gone. But yeah, the point to this story is that I'm gathering my survey parpicipants at my house so I can see how they relate to each other in person and not just what they think of each other. So that's that. Some of the people (as in three of them) are kind of fighting right now which complicates things. So I don't know yet. I don't want that tension to be there cause it will change them. But anyway, I should probably get going, I have tons of homework to do. (Thank you AP Lit, German, AP Psych...)

I'm Coming Home!
Hey Mackie~
Did ma tell you that I am going to be home on Monday, a week from today? Neat huh? I'm excited to meet the German. Furthermore, I have Nanna 's email address . It is this, breanna.paradeis@ndsu.edu. So that's cool. I just had a 5 hour demo for dance. It sucked. How's school for you? What are you up to next week? Anything fun? How's the play going. I think we should take a day trip up to Duluth while I am home, if possible. What do you think. Call me or write back sometime.

Workload Increase
Shayla, you know you can post anything you want on here. It's kind of just another way for us to keep in touch without having to call at the right time and what not. So I suppose I'll be the first to actually post something.
School started last Wednesday for me. This year is going to be tough, due to my class choices. I have AP Psychology, which looks like it will be taking up a lot of time. Then I have AP Lit, which will also be time-consuming, and overall just not an easy class. Then there is AP Stats, which honestly shouldn't be too bad. Throw in German 4 and Chem, and I have more work cut out for me than I am used to. So I better be ready to actually try. Having an English Aide with Albrecht 6th hour is a really relaxing break in my day, because though I am working through the hour and often even after school, it is under my own initiative and at whatever pace I want for the day. I like being in the little theatre, cause sometimes it's like the only place I feel at home aside from my room is in a theatre. So it's very calming, and makes me feel a lot less stressed.
